Context: I was on call with my (F18) boyfriend (M18) of 3 years. My sister (WHO IS 14) was calling her friend of the same age (who is gay by the way, and ALSO has a boyfriend), came into my room and her friend on the other end of the phone said hi to me. My boyfriend instantly gave me attitude and I reassured him that first of all, he’s my sister’s age? he’s gay, he’s in a relationship. And this is a completely inappropriate response? I presumably thought he was joking so i laughed it off but he was dead serious and asked “why didn’t you tell me about this?”.
