So a bit of background, i’m 23M in a decently paying job, my girlfriend is 21 and uni student, we’ve been together for around 5 years and 1 of those living together. It’s came to me instantly when she moved in with me that she likes to take long long showers, i’m talking like over a cubic of water total warm/cold, that totals to around 15 euros per day at my country, i don’t mind paying lot of money for water, if she chipped in on household stuff, cleaning etc, but i do all of those aswell, she does do them sometimes and sometimes not. My last month waterbill was around 400 which is crazy in my opinion, when i lived alone it was around 50-60 a month, it just hits me that i could be putting 200-250 to savings for us, rather than spending it on water. So i did ask her about spending less time in shower and cutting the water off, when her conditioner is working, but it has barely helped, she’s just longer there now. Just curious what other people would do in this position
