This happened earlier this summer and I’m still not sure if I was in the wrong, so I figured I’d ask here. My friends and I went to a 3-day music festival. It was great overall we saw Gracie Abrams, Tyler, Olivia Rodrigo, etc. On day 2, we barely slept (like 4 hours) because we wanted to be front row for Olivia’s set. We were all exhausted, slightly irritable, but still had an amazing time. On the drive back, everyone was totally wiped. We decided to stop to get food. While going through the videos from the weekend, one of my friend’s boyfriends had a really clear video of Olivia coming up super close to where we were. My friend and I both wanted it to post. He had trouble sending it, but eventually managed to send it to me. I then tried to send it to my friend via AirDrop, Instagram, etc., but nothing was working. I was starving (hadn’t eaten in over 7 hours), exhausted, and honestly out of patience. I told her, “Don’t worry, you have it on Insta anyway, it’s fine.” She started complaining that the quality wasn’t good on Instagram and kept asking me to resend it. Once we got to the restaurant, she pushed again, and I finally said, “I don’t know, I don’t care right now.” She repeated, “Oh, you don’t care?” and didn’t talk to me for the rest of the evening. It’s been almost a month now and she still hasn’t spoken to me. A similar situation happened once before and I apologized that time, but this time I feel like I was just tired and snapped a little. I didn’t mean it personally, I just genuinely didn’t have the energy at that moment. AITA for how I handled it?
