Hello this is a quick question as I'm new to living with people. I'm renting from one of my friends. She bought this house and is letting me and another friend live here. For more context, the room that I have has a very thin door and it leads right to the living room so I can hear everything in there very clearly even if people are talking at a medium level. There is a TV step in there as well. Well my roommates have started watching TV or hanging out in the living room early in the morning. This wouldn't be an issue if I didn't work overnights. I don't get home until 6am so I'm not in bed until 7am. They are normally up by 10am. I've bought noise blocking ear buds but I can still hear the TV (not them though!) I've been debating asking them if we can keep the noise low or quiet until noon (realistically I'd like to ask for 2pm but I know that's not doable.) would I be the asshole if I asked them to be quiet in the living room until noon? Also yes my roommates know I work overnights I just don't think they realize how thin my door is they also have the TV right up against my wall so. This didn't used to be an issue as the first 3 months of living together there was no TV in the living room.
