I’ll try to keep this as short as I can. My sister (38), my friend (f26) and I (f28) decided to go on a two nights holiday together. It was firstly planned just for me and my friend to go, but my sister is divorced and hadn’t been on a girls trip for a few years so I felt bad and invited her. We have never had a close relationship as I would find her selfish and completely different from me, but she is my blood and I still want her to enjoy her life. I was driving to the hotel (4 hours) and since the morning of leaving, me and my friend were only 15 minutes late and she was stomping her feet, rolling her eyes. I let it slide because I wanted to be in a good mood. Now heres the thing. She is very instagram driven ( i dont know how else to call it) and she takes dozens of pictures everywhere she goes, several times during the day. We left at 8 am and i woke up at 6:30 so by the time we arrived after 4-5 hours I was a little tired. She wanted her pictures taken immediately and I said “sure”. Me and my friend stayed at the pool till 4:30pm while my sister went up to the room at 2:00pm. When we went up i showered and went to take a nap and she woke me up 20 mins later to take her pictures. Even though I was feeling fatigue and frustrated, I still went and took some pictures. I had made reservations at a very nice restaurant. When we went she just stayed on the phone most of the time. Second day, she mostly stayed up on the room as she wasnt feeling like staying on the sun. She just came down to take some pictures. Totally cool. Me and my friend woke up at 8 and stayed at the beach till around 5:00pm. We had dinner reservations at 7:30 so we went up, showered, got ready and left. When we went to the restaurant, she asked if after eating we wanted to go walk by the sea (20 min walk to get there) and get a drink at a pub. I said I was feeling exhausted and we left tomorrow at 10:00am so I wasn’t really in the mood. But that I could ask my friend if she wanted to go. She called me selfish and “boring” and that she didnt pay for this vacation (only payed for her part of the room, i mostly took care of the food and drinks) just so she could go sleep at 9:30pm. I got frustrated and said im only being used as a photographer and a chauffeur. She got up and left without saying a word. When I went to the hotel room we had a pretty heated argument and I said she was disgusting and embarrassing. I felt so low discussing like that but I was baffled she was acting like a child because I was tired. She said on vacation you have to adapt to other peoples need and not be so selfish. Next morning she didnt speak a word the whole way back and she told my mom god knows what and my mom told me we both have fault…. I SWEAR this is everything that happened thats why i am tripping thinking what the hell did I do? Is it so bad I wasnt up for a drink?
