I make a decent amount of money but it also comes without some higher than average debt. There are no issues covering any debts though. My wife works for the school system and she makes a decent amount of money. Her position requires a master’s degree. So when she and I are working during her school year. Things are fine. We make enough to cover what we need. Not much more than that. We have two young kids one is entering elementary school and the other is still in daycare. It was quite expensive last year when both were in daycare. Like I said we covered just enough of what we need. I’ve been coaching on and off (mostly on) for the last 20 years. I didn’t coach last year because the end of the prior season I lost my mom to cancer. The previous two years I coached. In the summer time my wife doesn’t get paid and we barely have enough to cover our bills. So she doesn’t contribute anything in the summer. Not only debts but regular responsibilities fall solely on me. Ie mortgage payment, insurance payments etc. We recently got our children involved in an activity that requires additional money costs on a monthly basis even in the summer time. In an effort to cover the additional costs I resumed coaching for this year. AITA for taking this coaching job without asking?
