Throwaway I 20(F) had my birthday pass about a week ago. To be frank it was horrible. Everybody except my older brother completely forgot so I only got one birthday wish. On top of that I was sick and had to cancel the plans I had that evening. It was a spa thing I had a coupon for that I wanted to treat myself too. My parents also sent me a list of errands to run for them despite knowing I was sick as well. No they didn't wish me a birthday. I was having a rough day but that's not what upset me the most. That was the fact that my best friend didn't wish me a happy birthday. Which might sound crazy, but I'm closer to her then I am my own family. It hurts more that she didn't remember then anything else that went wrong that day. It's been a week now and she still hasn't said anything and I'm confident she forgot. I want to text her to tell her I'm upset that she forgot. But I'm worried I'll be the ass because I know she's going through some stressful stuff right now and know she probably didn't mean to forget. So would I be the ass if I texted her and told her that I'm upset with her because she forgot my birthday?
