Hey there! so my mom(52f) and I(18f) are super close and I love her very much. My boyfriend(19m) and I have been together for almost a year and we are so happy together. They are genuinely my two favorite people and I am so blessed. Okay, with all that said, me and my boyfriend were having a disagreement the other night while on facetime, nothing major, but was emotional. I was in my room with the door closed because it was a private conversation. My boyfriend and I settled the disagreement and said goodnight to each other. I open my door to go get water and my mom was standing there. I asked what she was doing and she said she was listening to my conversation with my boyfriend. I told her that was a little weird, and she was overstepping a bit. She's usually nosy but not to this level, I feel like this is crossing a line? AITA for not wanting my mom to know everything about my relationship even though we're really close? What do I say about it? Do I tell my boyfriend?
