I (27M) was at an arena concert last night where the performer was R&B, neo-soul focused. During the whole performance, two women above me were talking the whole time. By talking, I mean loudly yelling at each other. This was really distracting for me to listen to the music. Finally, I told them to be quiet and they responded by saying “they have the right to exist and they are allowed to talk” Am I in the wrong? I paid money to listen to a performance and it felt ruined by people with no respect to the people around them? I understand talking and wasn’t expecting absolute quiet but my understanding of talking at a concert is moving closer to the persons ear to talk.
