Last night I (F22) went out with my best friend (F22) her bf (M28) and his two friends (both M26). We were all hanging out at their apt before this and I had gotten there a bit later so I was a bit behind drink-wise. But after a little bit we all went to a bar. My friend (I’ll call her Amy) and I were talking and she said how last time they all went out of the guys (I’ll call him Tom) touched her hair and said she looked beautiful and she was saying how it made her uncomfortable. I said I’ve had similar experiences with that guy and it’s always when he’s really drunk. After the guys played darts for a little bit Amy told her bf she was ready to go home. It wasn’t late yet or anything so everyone was trying to convince them to stay but they left after we had been at the bar for about an hour. At this point the other friend said he was meeting his brother and had to go too and I said I better go home then too. Tom asked if I wanted to have another drink while everyone was getting up, I said no I don’t need to spend anymore money, and this is when the third guy left and said make sure Tom gets home safe because he was pretty wasted. Before I could say anything Amy and her bf left and Tom went to get me another drink. I said one drink and then I have to go. Tom kept touching my leg and holding my hand, asking me if I hated him, etc. When he went to the bathroom I texted Amy and said why did you guys leave me like this is so weird. Tom put his hand on the back of my neck, and I kept trying to steer the conversation back to talking about his fiancé. Anyway we both left after one drink and I called my brother to talk and he made sure I got an uber home and everything. This morning Amy texts me about something completely different. I know it’s not her fault her bfs friend is creepy but am I the asshole for being upset that they left me alone with him? I haven’t responded to her text. Tl;dr am I wrong for being upset that my friend left me alone with a know creep?
