So I (18M) have had an issue with someone who left our discord call because of something I did (which I don’t know what I did specifically besides annoying them). We were playing a video game where we were losing horribly and I would laugh because my friend did something funny to the opponent in the game. I started laughing a lot (maybe a bit too much) and once they were downed again they said “fuck this” and left the group call. After which both me and my friend left the game and I was confused so I asked what was wrong which they said that “i had annoyed them and they were upset because of me”. I still didn’t understand the situation so I recalled the only thing I could think of which was my laughing. I then got defensive saying “I wasn’t laughing at them, I was laughing at you looping the opponent” they then told me to “back off and not talk to them like that” to then quickly say “I’m done” and the left me very confused. Now I’m more confused than ever and tried apologising to both of them for something I don’t know I did wrong. Is it so wrong for me to laugh or am I just an asshole for having an annoying laugh?
