I have two roommates and we were sitting and chatting together in the living room. One of my roommates knows that I’m sensitive to eating noises, especially her super loud noodle slurps. While we’re hanging out she starts eating noodles, I let it be for a bit to not seem like an asshole but then I said “why do you have to eat so loud.” She proceeds to say she knows I hate it and laughs. I then say “why do you have to do it when you know it bothers me?” Normally I’ll just leave or go somewhere else if I see that she’s eating in the common room, but why did she have to start slurping her food at an ungodly sound level when all of us were chilling out together! AITO for just wanting her to eat quietly when I’m around because I’ve already expressed how it makes me feel?
